I2019 Rules updated 5/15/2019
a) No alcohol use while hunting. No illegal drugs are to be on property or in members vehicles.
b) All members are required to abide by the game laws and game limits of Kentucky.
c) A pinup board at lodge is for pinning general hunting area while hunting, remove pin at the end of each hunt. No need to pin an area when no season is open and member is scouting.
d) Baiting is legal in Kentucky and is not included in dues, if you care to bait it's up to you to implement. Any member may hunt any area as long as no member is pinned into hunt said area,(i.e. baited area is open for any member to hunt as long as another member is not pinned in to hunt it that day). Baiting will be limited in the month of October due to it not being useful and causing extra pressure on land.
e) All members should refrain from using ATV's except to retrieve game during season as to not upset areas other hunters may plan on hunting. No ATV's are to be used to move stands during any open hunting season if another member is hunting any where on property in the vicinity of intended area to place stand. Checking of cameras and putting out bait during deer season is restricted to an area a member is pinned in as hunting at peg board(members are not allowed to traverse throughout property during season just to check cameras/placing bait, this is to prevent undue pressure on property and ruin another persons hunting).ATV use to move throughout property on designated roads is acceptable,plain and simple be respectful of others. Driving automobiles through fields is not allowed, only designated main roads maybe used for automobiles(several natural occurring springs and sink holes are located on the property in the fields and automobiles will not make it through them!)
f) All stands/blinds are available to all members (If you plan to hunt someone's stand please remember that you have put your safety into someone's hands whom may not treat safety as serious you do).No nails or spikes to be used on any trees. Use of safety fall restraint system is required when hunting from elevated stand.
g) All food plots will be planted and maintained for all members by club leadership for all to use. Please refrain from driving any vehicle thru any food plots.
h) There will be no cutting of timber, pruning is allowed of limbs and saplings.
i) Club will not be responsible for any items left on property/lodge.
j) Minimum size for buck harvested is 140" P&Y bucks. Pictures of all deer taken are to be provided as soon as possible to club president. All members are asked to take a doe, if meat is more than needed for member the local processor will take the does and provide to needy families in the area for free, something as a club we want to support.
k) Always leave any interior gates as they are found. There maybe cattle in certain areas of property. Close all main gates that you may open to pass through unless it was open upon your arrival. Always lock main gates behind you when entering or leaving.
l) All members must sign yearly lease agreement along with hold harmless agreement prior to accessing property.
m) Deer should be field dressed at site of kill. If deer is brought back to lodge to be field dressed, member is responsible for disposing of all refuse from deer within 1 hour. An area will be identified for entrails to be dumped.
n) Deer hunting will be by means of archery tackle only, no gun hunting will be allowed for deer by request of landowner. Bow hunting during firearms season is allowed by all members,members should still wear orange as the state requires during open gun season.
o) No guest are allowed except for wife, son/daughter under the age of 18 and still in school. Wife, son/daughter are only allowed to harvest does and must hunt in immediate presence of member, 100 yds max. If a racked buck is taken it will count as members 1 buck limit for the season. Button bucks are the exception, button bucks will not count as a racked buck.
CABIN USE RULES
a) Available to all members throughout the year.
b) Place key back in designated secured location if used.
c) Keep dishes, cups, glasses and utensils washed and out of the sink.
d) Keep all trash picked up from the yard and any trash found anywhere on entire lease should be picked up and removed. by all members, DO NOT LEAVE OLD CORN BAGS ON PROPERTY. Remove all trash from lodge and drop off at nearest trash depot prior to leaving cabin. Empty refrigerator of all perishables when leaving. Leave no perishables in cabin to eliminate the possibility of rodents
e) Each member should take ownership in the clubhouse and property by keeping it clean and safe. If something needs to be addressed a member should make an attempt to repair/fix any issue found or notify us of issue. Please remember this is a club and not a guided hunt, if something needs attention take care of it and we will compensate the member for the approved repair.
f) No member may claim any bunk/bed as their own. Every member has equal rights to lodge and beds. All beds are on a first come first serve premise. If bedding is not available last arriving member will need to seek local lodging at their expense.
g) No smoking inside lodge.
h) No muddy boots inside lodge
i) Turn off all water, gas heat and power except water pump and refrigerator power before leaving lodge. Pour antifreeze into drains.
i) Park all vehicles after unloading in front of house at skinning rack
***At the end of the season members will be invited to join club for following year as long as no rules have been violated and there are no outstanding guest fees to be paid.
